Discipleship: The Jesus Way

Equipping Jesus-followers to cultivate thriving communities where people connect relationally, grow spiritually, and serve purposefully = embodying the purpose of the Church.

Biblical Foundation for Small Groups

Rooted in Scripture

The concept of community begins with the Trinity in Genesis and continues throughout Scripture. Jesus prayed for unity among believers that reflects the oneness of the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit (John 17:21-23).

Early Church Model

Acts 2:41-47 provides a glimpse into how the early church practiced authentic community, meeting together, sharing resources, and growing in faith.

Better Together

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us that we need each other. Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12 show how believers should function as a body, each contributing their unique gifts.
