Small Group Discipleship
Equipping Jesus-followers to cultivate thriving communities where people connect relationally, grow spiritually, and serve purposefully = an expression of the purpose of the Church.
Biblical Foundation for Small Groups
Rooted in Scripture
The concept of community begins with the Trinity in Genesis and continues throughout Scripture. Jesus prayed for unity among believers that reflects the oneness of the Trinity (John 17:21-23).
Early Church Model
Acts 2:41-47 provides a glimpse into how the early church practiced authentic community, meeting together, sharing resources, and growing in faith.
Better Together
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us that we need each other. Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12 show how believers should function as a body, each contributing their unique gifts.

LIFE with Jesus
The Foundation: glorifying Jesus and growing as His followers
Jesus came so we could have life "to the full" (John 10:10). This begins with placing our faith in Jesus as Savior and continues as we grow in relationship with Him. From this foundation flows our relationships with others and our purpose-driven service.
Three Types of Small Groups
Growth Groups = Life with Jesus
These groups focus on helping people take steps toward knowing and following Jesus through Bible study or finding support through challenging life circumstances.
Connect Groups = Life with People
These groups intentionally bring people together so deep, encouraging relationships can form. They often organize around shared life stages, geography, gender, or interests.
Serve Groups = Life with Purpose
These groups meet the needs of others through shared ministry opportunities, either inside or outside the church community.
